How the i-Ready Works

Format: 100% online; students typically use Chromebooks, PCs, or iPads. Item types include multiple choice, drag-and-drop, matching, and short responses.

• Untimed, allowing students to work at their own pace
• Typically takes an average of 60–75 minutes to complete

Language availability: English and Spanish

Frequency:

• Most schools test two or three times a year (Beginning, Middle, End of Year).
• Some use trimester schedules.
